We built YUZUCO’s foundation on Shopify, then joined it to Klaviyo, Meta and Google, so a chef-grade citrus brand could sell direct to kitchens, bars and homes, and keep them coming back.

YUZUCO brings Japanese yuzu to life through products designed for flavour precision, consistency, and creativity. From professional kitchens to home bars, they make it easier to work with one of the world’s most expressive citrus fruits, without compromise.
Built alongside chefs, bartenders, and flavour obsessives, the range is designed to perform across every use case. Whether balancing a cocktail, finishing a dish, or experimenting at home, YUZUCO delivers clarity, depth, and reliability in every pour.
Rooted in Japanese craft and informed by modern technique, the brand focuses on doing fewer things better: flavour-first products, responsibly made and thoughtfully packaged.

Two audiences, one store.
YUZUCO sells to professional kitchens and bars, and to home cooks. Each buys for different reasons, at different volumes, and needs a different route back to the store.
At the same time, the brand was launching new canned drinks, so the foundation had to carry launches as well as the core range.
- Trade
Chefs and beverage directors
Trade buyers who need consistency, supply and a reason to reorder.
- Home
Home cooks
Curious shoppers who need inspiration, recipes and confidence to try yuzu.
- Launch
New canned drinks
Sparkling Yuzu Ade and Green Tea Yuzu Ade, each needing its own launch.

A foundation built to sell to both.
We built YUZUCO’s store on Shopify, with product, membership and gifting logic structured so trade and home customers each see what matters to them.
Behind the scenes, Shopify Flow handles membership gift classification automatically, so the right customer gets the right gift without manual checks.

Acquisition split by who’s buying.
We segmented Meta campaigns across D2C and B2B personas, with separate creative and messaging for chefs, beverage directors and home cooks.
At the centre was Secret Menu, an ongoing content series that places YUZUCO in real kitchens and bars. Each release pairs a clear use case with a simple recipe, so it’s easy to see how yuzu works across food and drink.
Built to feel practical, not promotional, the content was modular and repeatable, feeding paid media, email and the site with consistent creative. Paired with Google Ads to capture search intent, it cut cost per purchase by 42%.
Email and SMS now carry nearly a third of revenue.
We rebuilt YUZUCO’s lifecycle foundations in Klaviyo around behaviour, not blasts: flows that catch interest early and bring customers back after they buy.
On top of those flows, we introduced a consistent campaign cadence across launches, seasonal moments and evergreen products, with Secret Menu feeding every send, so each new drink reached an audience that already knew the brand.
